Motherwell's Jonathan Page and Keith Lasley are suspended for the Scottish Premier League visit of Celtic.

Stevie Hammell and Steve Jennings return from bans but Stephen Craigan (Achilles) is expected to remain out.

An ankle injury could keep Celtic winger James Forrest out for the rest of the season.

Right-back Adam Matthews (illness), centre-back Kelvin Wilson (illness) and defender Glenn Loovens (groin) will be assessed on Saturday.

Motherwell manager Stuart McCall: "It's going to be an exciting time for supporters but it's going to be really tense.

"They are probably not going to get the high-quality games we had at the beginning of the season because the pitches are drying up and bumpy and because of the tension and the pressure, and players will be playing with an edge.

"But it's our job to take that pressure off the players to play with that confidence and freedom.

"Even with that big carrot at the end we have to try to play with freedom, confidence and relaxation.

"But I think pitches will play a part."

Celtic assistant manager Johan Mjallby: "We still have a target to win all five games, first and foremost, and then to get more points than last year.

"We have a squad of 21 or 22 players and during the five games there will be a few young faces.

"Some of the boys have a chance to show if they really want to be part of the future."
