MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

• This is the 40th time these two clubs have gone head-to-head. All 39 previous matches have been in the league, and each club have won 12.

• Blackpool gained their first win in seven with a 1-0 triumph at Bloomfield Road five months ago, but they have only beaten Millwall twice in London, and not since October 1969.

• The Lions are unbeaten in 13 home games against the Seasiders (W6, D7), with the last two ending all square. They've only lost home and away once, in 1968-69.

• Millwall are enjoying the strongest finish to the season of all Championship clubs, having won the last five.

• But even if Kenny Jackett's side prevail against Blackpool, they will still total eight fewer points than last season, when they finished ninth in their first campaign after promotion.

• The Lions are one of three clubs this season who have been unable to win a solitary Championship match from a losing position.

Blackpool

• Blackpool will be competing in the Championship play-offs for the second time in three seasons, and will be wanting to maintain fourth spot. They currently lie one point ahead of Birmingham and two ahead of Cardiff.

• Ian Holloway's men are unbeaten in six (W4, D2), and have kept three consecutive clean sheets.

• They have gained an unrivalled 31 Championship points from losing positions, having won an unequalled seven and drawn 10 games in which they were in arrears.
