MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

• Of 12 league and cup matches since 1954, Doncaster have won four, Ipswich four, and four have been drawn.

• El-Hadji Diouf scored his first Doncaster goals in their 3-2 win at Portman Road in December. Now Rovers could complete their second double over the Suffolk club, having won home and away in 2008-09.

• Ipswich won last season's corresponding fixture 6-0, with a hat-trick from Connor Wickham.

• Doncaster have lost their last five at home, and are heading back to League One after four seasons in the Championship. Victory would complete their only double of the season, but would not be enough to take them off the foot of the table.

• Rovers have won eight and lost 25 Championship games, scoring 41 goals and conceding 77. All four totals are the worst in the division.

• Dean Saunders, and his predecessor Sean O'Driscoll, have used an unmatched 41 players in this ill-fated Championship campaign.

• Ipswich are to play an 11th successive season at second-league level, and will become the longest residents in this division. They have won one of eight, picked up three points from a winless last five, and are without victory in six on the road.

• A share of the spoils will be the Tractor Boys' 200th away draw in second-level league football.

• Paul Jewell's side, who have fired more shots on target than any other in the division (305), have lost seven Championship games from winning positions. Only Doncaster have also lost that many.
